Hybrid: 2 days per week onsite initially, with flexibility as the assignment progresses We are recruiting an experienced, hands-on Interim Management Accountant to support a business immediately following an acquisition.
This is a fantastic assignment for an experienced interim who is comfortable walking into an SME finance environment where processes and reporting need significant improvement.
You will take ownership of the finance function, establish what needs fixing, and bring the business up to the reporting and control standards required by its new parent company.
The Role Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will: Take day-to-day ownership of the acquired company's finance function.
Assess the existing accounts, processes, controls and reporting and identify immediate priorities.
Get under the skin of the numbers and resolve historic accounting issues.
Produce accurate management accounts and improve the quality and timeliness of financial reporting.
Support quarterly group reporting requirements.
