Job: Interim Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner (3 Months)
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary: £250-£350 per day
Length of contract: 3 Months
My client is seeking an immediately available and highly experienced Interim Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner to join their finance team on a 3-month basis. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running, work independently, and add immediate value in a dynamic, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end month-end reporting, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts with variance analysis
- Support project accounting, WIP reviews, and cost tracking across multiple live contracts
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts and ensure robust financial controls
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insight and support
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified OR Qualified By Experience
- Strong background in management accounting, ideally in construction, infrastructure, or project-based industries
- Proven ability to pick things up quickly and work autonomously
- Solid Excel and ERP system experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, commercial environment
- Available to start at short notice
