Job Description

Job Title: Interim Employment Solicitor

Contract Length: 3 Months (Ongoing)

Location: Dudley – 3 days in office and 2 days working from home

Hourly Rate: Competitive & negotiable

Key responsibilities of an Interim Employment Solicitor:

  • Provide expert legal advice on a range of non-contentious employment law issues, including contracts, disciplinary matters, grievances, redundancy, TUPE, and tribunal claims
  • Assist with contentious employment matters, ranging from initial fixed fee appointments to representing clients in employment tribunal proceedings. This includes issuing employment tribunal claims and dealing with ACAS Early Conciliation
  • Support both individuals and businesses (small and large) with practical, commercially focused employment law solutions
  • Assist with settlement agreements and negotiation with the other side
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to deliver excellent client service

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge of employment law (both contentious and non-contentious)
  • Experience representing clients in employment tribunals and with ACAS Early Conciliation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach
