My client is a leading global service provider in the airport and travel services sector, connecting millions of users to lounges, dining, and travel-related benefits worldwide. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer with an infrastructure background and Salesforce administration experience to join our dynamic team and ensure robust technical support across global operations.
About the job:
This is a hybrid role combining infrastructure, system and network support with Salesforce platform administration. You will play a key role in maintaining system integrity, assisting users, and enhancing the performance and adoption of internal tools, supporting teams across multiple regions.
What you\'ll do:
- Act as a bridge between development team in China, technology team and account management team in the UK, and work with the global team across the globe
- Work with the team to handle daily incident calls/emails and system outages.
- Provide incident reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Monitor error logs and identify root causes.
- Create/manage incident tickets in JIRA.
- Troubleshoot system/service issues affecting customers.
- Document standard operation procedures in English.
- Apply urgent fixes based on standard procedures.
- Defer non-critical issues to the next day.
What you\'ll bring:
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure operational support
- Network support experience, including firewall and WAF (Web Application Firewall) management.
- Salesforce administration and configuration experience.
- Strong experience with infrastructure, system, Linux and cloud operation support
- Fluent in English and Mandarin/Cantonese to work with their development team in China and the rest of tech team across UK and Europe
