This international service provider is a large private-equity backed organisation, operating in over 30 countries. The role of Head of Secretariat is crucial in the provision of expert advice on the Group’s corporate governance, subsidiary management and transactional support.
In addition to running the department, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and deliver a programme of improvement to provide a best-in-class company secretarial service, including ensuring governance procedures and processes adhere to best practice standards.
- International subsidiary governance, including ensuring service providers deliver value for money and timely, high-quality support to the group.
- Management of, and principal point of contact for, outsourced registered agents and company secretarial service providers across a global portfolio.
- Support the Chief Legal Officer, the Board and its Committees, acting as secretary to committees and other Board meetings as required.
- Assisting with the provision of governance advice and guidance to members of the Board.
- Liaising with various departments and offices in different countries and time zones across a global portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Company Secretary (qualified), who has experience with international subsidiary governance. You will have experience in, or a desire to, manage and train junior staff.
