I'm partnering with a large, well-established UK organisation to recruit a Head of Accounts Payable. Leading a team of around 25 people, including 4 Team Leaders, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring operational excellence while developing a high-performing team and driving process improvements, automation, and efficiencies across the purchase-to-pay cycle.
Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Commercial, and IT, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of the function, improving processes, monitoring performance through KPIs, and maintaining strong financial controls within a complex, multi-site environment.
We're looking for someone with experience leading large Accounts Payable or Shared Services teams, a passion for coaching and developing people, strong stakeholder management skills, and a proven track record of delivering operational improvements and leading change.
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of £85,000-£90,000, bonus, an excellent benefits package, and the flexibility of hybrid working (3 days in the North Wales office, 2 days from home). You'll also be joining a business that genuinely values its people and offers real scope to influence strategy, develop your career, and make a lasting impact.
