An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join a highly skilled quality team supporting advanced production operations. This role focuses on ensuring high standards across cleanroom manufacturing and testing processes, working on complex and precision-built equipment. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with defined quality standards, supporting inspection activities, and promoting a strong quality-first culture across production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance of production and testing activities with established quality standards and procedures
- Perform inspection and validation activities to confirm products meet design and build requirements
- Conduct Key Inspection Points (KIPs) and support critical inspection processes
- Identify and record non-conformities, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Perform internal audits and documentation checks within cleanroom operations
- Support testing readiness, critical movements, and final product packing
- Maintain and monitor cleanroom standards, including health and safety and environmental controls
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement in quality and workmanship
Requirements
- Experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and inspection techniques
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications
- High attention to detail with a proactive approach
- Experience working within controlled environments (e.g. cleanrooms) is desirable
- Knowledge of industry standards (such as ECSS or equivalent) would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
