The Opportunity
As a Corporate Tax Partner, you'll be at the forefront of our tax offering, providing expert advice to clients while driving business development and mentoring the next generation of tax professionals.
You'll have the freedom to shape your client portfolio, lead complex advisory projects and collaborate closely with fellow Partners across the wider business to identify opportunities and deliver outstanding client service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and inspiring a high-performing Corporate Tax team, creating a culture of collaboration, development and excellence.
- Delivering bespoke tax planning and strategic advisory services to a broad range of business clients.
- Managing and growing a portfolio of key client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior stakeholders.
- Working closely with regional and national Tax Partners on complex and high-value advisory assignments.
- Providing market-leading technical expertise across a wide range of corporate tax matters.
- Supporting offices across the region with specialist tax projects and advisory work.
- Driving the growth of the tax practice through networking, referrals and business development activity.
- Identifying opportunities within existing client relationships and converting them into additional work.
- Coaching, mentoring and developing future leaders within the tax team.
- Overseeing quality, risk management and compliance standards across the practice.
- Researching and interpreting complex areas of tax legislation to deliver innovative and commercial solutions for clients.
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded tax leader who combines technical excellence with strong relationship-building skills.
You'll ideally have:
- CTA, ACA, ACCA or CA qualification (or equivalent).
- Significant Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience gained within a professional practice environment.
- A strong track record in delivering complex tax advisory work.
- Experience managing and developing successful teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A passion for nurturing client relationships and growing revenue opportunities.
- Strong commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience working across a variety of sectors and business sizes.
