The Role
Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.
What you'll do
- Prepare financial statements for investment companies in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
- Produce financial statements from supporting documentation and prepare Condensed Schedules of Investments (CSoI).
- Support annual and interim reporting for hedge fund clients.
- Work closely with auditors, providing supporting information and clear documentation for financial statement disclosures.
- Review and analyse financial information, identifying and escalating issues where required.
- Ensure all deliverables meet agreed deadlines and comply with internal controls and procedures.
What you bring
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or ACA qualified)
- Experience preparing financial statements, ideally within an investment or financial services environment.
- Previous hedge fund experience, with an understanding of fund structures and reporting requirements.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience within banks, investment banks, investment management, asset management or fund services.
- Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge, with an understanding of securities operations.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and escalate issues effectively.
