My client, one of the most recognisable media brands in the country, are looking to hire a French-speaking Financial Accountant/Manager to join their stunning offices in Manchester. This role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with diverse teams and stakeholders, looking after the French-speaking entity based in Monaco, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS standards. You will play a pivotal part in managing ERP systems, driving process improvements, and delivering technically sound outputs within a strong control framework. What you'll do:

  • Own the day-to-day operational accounting for the Monaco entity remotely, including journal entries, general ledger activity, month-end close tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of accurate financial outputs.
  • Manage financial accounting within the local Monaco ERP system as well as uploading results into the Global ERP, supporting wider uploads, mapping exercises, and ongoing finance systems consolidation activities.
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities, resolve reconciling items efficiently, and ensure strict compliance with internal controls, policies, procedures, and IFRS reporting requirements.
