My global financial service client is expanding their team in London. They are hiring for a few FO Trading App Support to be part of the Global FIX Connectivity team, to manage FO Trading Applications and FIX connectivity requests from clients, vendors, brokers, and exchanges across Asia, Europe, and the US market.
What you'll do:
- Provide daily trading application support for high-touch and low-touch cash equities desk
- Carry out FIX testing and certification for clients, brokers, vendors, exchanges, and internal systems
- Work with infrastructure teams to set up and maintain FIX connectivity
- Build strong relationships with brokers, vendors, exchanges, traders, and internal teams
- Provide shift coverage for Asian, European, and US markets
- Investigate and resolve FIX connectivity and trading issues quickly
- Work closely with FIX teams in Asia and the US
What you'll bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related subject
- At least seven years of FIX technology experience, including FIX certification and client onboarding
- Experience working in a broker-dealer environment
- Strong knowledge of cash equities, DMA, DSA, agency, and program trading
- Experience with trading and order management systems such as CONNECT, Fidessa, and FlexTrade
