Role overview: As the Financial Controls Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring robust governance and compliance across financial systems and processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on optimal control frameworks to promote good governance and drive improvements.
- Leading relationships with internal stakeholders, including Finance, IT, Internal Audit, and External Audit teams.
- Monitoring compliance with Internal Control in Financial Reporting (ICFR) and delivering updates to senior leadership.
- Reviewing and refining control frameworks, standing instructions, and approval authority processes to ensure alignment with business needs.
What we're looking for:
- Audit trained qualified accountant (ACA/CA or equivalent), either with 2-4 years industry experience within a controls focussed role, or at Manager/Senior Manager level, looking to make their first move into industry.
- Strong working knowledge of financial controls and compliance.
