An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance transformation professional to join a leading global professional services firm as an Associate Director within its Business Consulting practice. This position offers the opportunity to work with ambitious, growth-focused organisations, helping them modernise finance functions, adopt digital solutions, and deliver sustainable operational change. You will play a senior role across client engagements, people leadership, and business development.
As an Associate Director in Finance Transformation, you will lead complex consulting engagements and act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:- Leading end-to-end finance transformation projects
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships at senior levels
- Designing and facilitating finance workshops and diagnostics
- Developing future-state finance processes and operating models
- Coaching, mentoring, and performance-managing consulting teams
- Contributing to proposals, pitches, and wider business development activity
- Supporting clients with digital finance solutions and process optimisation
- Managing multiple projects while maintaining high delivery standards
You will bring significant experience delivering finance transformation initiatives, ideally within a consultancy or professional services environment. You will have:
- Proven experience leading finance transformation programmes
- Strong people management and coaching capability
- A recognised finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- In-depth understanding of finance processes and best-practice design
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience contributing to proposals and winning new work
- Confidence facilitating workshops and senior client discussions
- A proactive, structured, and solutions-focused mindset
- An interest in digital finance tools and emerging technologies
