About You

  • Approx. 4–8 years PQE in employment law from a leading national or regional practice.
  • Strong technical expertise across both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to deliver practical, business‑focused advice.
  • Experience supporting corporate transactions (desirable but not essential).
  • A proactive approach, self‑motivation, and enthusiasm for problem‑solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • A collaborative attitude and a passion for working as part of a high‑performing team.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities effectively under pressure.

Your Role

  • Represent clients in complex employment tribunal litigation from start to finish.
  • Provide day‑to‑day legal support to HR teams as a trusted advisor.
  • Advise on key HR projects such as restructurings, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
  • Support corporate transactions by advising on employment‑related aspects like due diligence and risk management.
  • Act on executive severances and draft/negotiating settlement agreements.
  • Supervise junior team members while collaborating with partners on high‑value instructions.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives to expand the client base and enhance market presence.
