Job Description
We are seeking motivated and experienced Direct Recruiter’s to join our recruitment team as part of a high-performing RPO solution for a leading client in the financial services sector. This role is ideal for a recruitment professional with a strong track record in front office hiring—such as sales, trading, or investment banking—and who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
As a Direct Recruiter, you will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, delivering high-quality hires across key front office business areas. Working in close partnership with hiring managers and other stakeholders, you will proactively source talent, manage candidate pipelines, and provide market insights to support strategic hiring decisions.

What You'll Do
- To work with the Recruitment Partner in providing an end-to-end recruitment service to identified business areas
- To join the recruitment partner on calls with line managers to understand their hiring needs and provide a more efficient search
- Recruitment process management utilizing ATS such as Workday and Avature
- Proactively source candidates via multi-media advertising, referrals, internal and external networking, database, candidate portal to effectively contribute to the target for direct recruitment
- Build and maintain RW candidate database by building up talent pools using the CRM
- Continue to develop innovative methods to attract top talent
- Screen CVs in line with the line manager & business requirements and arrange interviews as appropriate
- Ensure thorough and complete tracking history of every applicant progress, contact and feedback
- Providing market data and reporting on market trends as and when requested
- Ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets
- Ensure compliance with all client policies (including approval systems, compensation policies, e-mail policies etc.)
What are we looking for in the right candidate?
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Full-cycle recruitment expertise (sourcing, screening, interviewing & offer negotiation)
- Proven success recruiting for corporate roles ideally within financial services
- Strong Boolean search and LinkedIn Recruiter skills
- Experience with ATS tools (e.g., Workday, Avature)
- Able to generate and present hiring reports and analytics to clients or senior management
Stakeholder Management
- Ability to liaise effectively with hiring managers and business leaders
- Skilled in managing multiple stakeholders across business units
- Strong understanding of client requirements and translating them into actionable talent strategies
- Experienced in delivering against SLAs and KPIs in an outsourced recruitment model (RPO/MSP)
Market & Industry Knowledge
- Understanding of industry trends, compensation benchmarking, and competitor mapping
- Familiar with regulatory and compliance aspects in financial hiring (e.g., SMCR in the UK)
Candidate Engagement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage passive and active candidates
- Skilled in building and maintaining talent pipelines
- Ability to pitch employer brand and value proposition effectively
- Experience in providing a first-class candidate experience
Commercial Acumen & Delivery
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a strong focus on results
- Commercial mindset with the ability to align recruitment strategies to business goals
- Strong prioritization and time management skills in high-volume or fast-paced settings
