Digital Brand Designer – JP Morgan Chase – London – 9 months contract – PAYE – ONSITEWe are seeking a talented Digital Designer to join Chase UK, JP Morgan\’s digital consumer bank in London on an initial 9 months maternity cover contract. We are especially interested in candidates with Digital Brand Design experience and Adobe After Effects experience so please ensure experience is clear in your CV and portfolio.The RoleWorking closely with the other digital designers and content writers, you will be part of a fast-paced team that produces a diverse range of creative assets across multiple channels.The successful candidate will be an integrated thinker that understands channel best practice across outdoor and digital advertising, social media, web and email. You will live and breathe digital, but when asked upon you will also be competent in executing print adverts when needed. You will be creative in nature, brimming with ideas, but you will also be able to roll your sleeves up to deliver at volume, always maintaining attention to detail.This position provides a unique opportunity to operate in a dynamic environment building digital products and services, backed by one of the world\’s leading financial services providers.Please note that this role will be working onsite full timeResponsibilities include:Creating digital design work across multi-channel marketing campaignsWorking side by side with other designers and writers on idea creation, design execution and maintaining a creative team culturePartnering with marketing colleagues on creative briefs across paid, earned and owned channelsConfidently manage and own projects from brief to delivery, working with multiple stakeholdersMaintain strong working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders and external creative agencies for cohesive communication and effective design outcomesMake decisions and move quickly – don\’t be afraid to fail fast, learn and start againEnsure design guidelines, systems and other best practices are followed throughout the design processAbility to present design decisions effectively to team members and stakeholders and confidence in justifying your workQuality check and proof all design and production output to ensure completed work is error-free, meets the brief and achieves the desired design standards and brand guidelinesPeer reviewing design work within the team as well as receiving team feedbackEnhance all designs to meet the firm wide accessibility standardsEnsure customers are at the heart of everything we doWork with Compliance and Legal stakeholders to maintain full awareness and understanding of appropriate legislative approvals needed for relevant channels, ensuring all materials are consistent with legal conditions and codes of practice.RequirementsExtensive experience working in an in-house design studio or creative agency at a mid-senior level.Experience delivering comprehensive large scale multi-channel projects with a strong brand focus.Motivated and have meticulous attention to detail and good project management processes.Able to respond quickly to urgent requests and prioritise in an agile way with all open projects.Strong portfolio demonstrating design competence, creative thinking and an understanding for audiences.Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign), with the ability to animate.Passionate about maintaining brand consistencyCalm under pressure with a positive attitudeAn excellent team playerFlexibility/adaptability (ability to change direction based upon team and stakeholder consensus)Experience in the Atlassian suite of software (Jira & Confluence) is desirableAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented, cross-functional environmentExcellent organisational and communication skills.We are committed to creating an inclusive recruitment experience.
