What you\’ll do:

In your capacity as a Commercial Solicitor based in Birmingham, you will assume a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal support including but not limited to:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating an extensive range of commercial contracts from supply, distribution, agency agreements, logistics and warehousing arrangements, managed service contracts, information technology agreements such as software licensing and SaaS, system integration projects, outsourcing agreements to facilities management contracts, and consumer contract law matters.
• Providing non-contentious intellectual property guidance and manage intellectual property licensing issues with particular attention to supporting clients\’ strategic business objectives.
• Advising clients on compliance with anti-bribery legislation and modern slavery regulations to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained throughout their operations.
• Offering expert guidance on data protection compliance matters including UK GDPR requirements.
• Supervising the management of intellectual property portfolios (including trademarks) and address disputes related to intellectual property rights with efficiency and precision.

What you bring:

The successful Commercial Solicitor will:

• Be a qualified solicitor with circa 2 years\’ + PQE within commercial law environments.
• Demonstrate proficiency in drafting a range of commercial contracts and providing practical advice on intellectual property licensing as well as non-contentious intellectual property matters.
• Experience advising on compliance with anti-bribery legislation and modern slavery regulations and UK GDPR requirements.
• Be able to work independently but also part of a wider team.
