We are seeking a Client Services Analyst to join JP Morgan's Collateral Services team on an initial 6 months contract in Bournemouth. Ideally you will have client services experience within a financial services environment, but we will also consider recent graduates who have excellent communication skills, are hardworking, keen to learn and confident at building strong relationships.
As a Client Services Analyst, you will play a crucial role in mitigating counterparty risk. You will monitor and collect collateral for the trading businesses, make independent decisions, and build relationships with the priority buy-side clients and internal partners. This role offers the opportunity to work in a controlled environment, where your judgment and decision-making skills will be highly valued.
Job responsibilities:
- Engages with clients to manage collateral statements and coordinate calls for standard and non-standard agreements.
- Handles incoming collateral calls, comparing them to JP Morgan's exposure.
- Agrees on the amount and type of collateral to be moved, i.e. Cash or securities; addresses counterparty fails.
- Provides timely resolution of incoming queries regarding a client's portfolio, escalation of issues, reconciliation and dispute resolution.
