The Role: We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst to join us on a permanent basis via the Robert Walters Consultancy. Your first assignment will be at Aspen in London. Aspen is a global financial services firm providing advisory, investment, and risk management solutions. We combine analytical expertise with a collaborative culture to deliver innovative results and support professional growth in a dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

  • Gather and document business requirements, engaging with finance and technical stakeholders to support system changes and business objectives.
  • Analyse, develop, and maintain Alteryx models, ensuring technical specifications are met and documentation is complete.
  • Collaborate with integration project managers and finance teams to implement changes while adhering to audit and SOX compliance standards.
  • Review and improve finance processes and systems, providing technical guidance and resolving issues efficiently.

What you bring:

  • Proven track record as a technical business analyst, ideally within the insurance sector.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and SQL querying (desirable).
  • Part-qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Solid understanding of finance data, systems, and processes.
  • Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator with organisational skills, able to manage priorities and collaborate across teams.
