Who you will work with
Our client is a dynamic UK-based insurance services provider, delivering innovative solutions across a wide range of sectors. Our team combines expertise in risk management, underwriting support, and claims administration to ensure seamless service for clients and partners.
What you’ll do
- Facilitate new and renewal business, managing end-to-end placement of assigned contracts and acting as the link between retail brokers and Aspen's Lloyd's Syndicate.
- Evaluate business opportunities, risks, pricing structures, and terms to support strategic growth and portfolio performance.
- Prepare and analyse management information, reports, and presentations to guide underwriting decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practice standards across all processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional service.
- Lead, develop, and mentor junior team members, promoting accountability, performance, and professional growth.
What you bring
- Extensive senior broking experience with strong wholesale broking expertise.
- In-depth regulatory knowledge, including Lloyd's, FCA, and PRA requirements.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing business strategy and operational plans.
- Experience managing coverholders, bordereaux processes, and delegated authority arrangements.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and reporting skills with experience in risk assessment and MI production.
- Leadership experience, including managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams; degree-level education or equivalent; ACII or progress toward completion preferred.
