Global banking institution looking for an Employment Lawyer, initially on a 12 month contract basis. This will be on a hybrid basis with two to three days per week required in the office. The client is happy to consider applications from candidates wanting either a 4 or 5 day working week.

Working alongside the lead employment lawyer for EMEA, you will be involved with a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious work. You will be working closely with the business to advise on ongoing change relating to matters such as TUPE, redundancies and restructuring. In addition to that, you will be advising on a wide range of employee relations issues to drive forward the business' commercial objectives.

The disputes work includes several ongoing employment tribunals. Any experience with tribunal work as well as a willingness to get stuck into the day-to-day (witness statements, bundles etc) would be viewed favourably.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years' PQE and must have extensive experience of UK employment law (ideally both advisory and disputes work). It is essential that you are able to commence the position before the end of March, and have the right to work in the UK (as sponsorship is not available for this post).
