A well-established manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to support the continued development of its HSE function across a busy production environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with around 2-3 years' HSE experience who is looking to step into a broader, hands-on role within a growing manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the company's Health, Safety & Environmental systems
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits and investigations across the site
  • Promote a positive health & safety culture across production and operational teams
  • Assist with maintaining compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards
  • Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks where required
  • Monitor incidents, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities
  • Ensure policies and procedures remain up to date with current legislation

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years' experience within a Health & Safety or HSE role
  • Manufacturing or industrial environment experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent qualification desirable
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive and practical approach
  • Confident working with stakeholders across all levels of the business
