A growing retail business in West Manchester is looking to add a Product Specialist to its expanding product team. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience in merchandising, product, category or NPD support, or a recent graduate with a degree in Fashion, Textiles or a related subject looking to kick-start their career in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams, you'll support the launch and management of products from concept through to market, ensuring projects stay on track and products are delivered successfully.

Key responsibilities:
  • Supporting the end-to-end product launch process across multiple product ranges
  • Managing product information, specifications and critical paths
  • Coordinating with internal teams across supply chain, operations, marketing and sales
  • Assisting with packaging, artwork and product data management
  • Supporting category and product lifecycle activities, including discontinuations and updates
  • Liaising with customers and stakeholders to ensure timelines and product requirements are met
  • Conducting market and competitor research where required

  • 1-2 years' experience within product, merchandising, category, retail or NPD environments, OR A recent graduate with a degree in Fashion, Textiles or a similar discipline
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Any exposure to product management, category management or merchandising would be highly advantageous
