An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Accountant to support a major UK logistics operation during a key period. This role offers the chance to take ownership of site-level financial performance, partner directly with senior operational leaders, and play a central part in driving commercial decision-making. The Opportunity
You will be the main finance contact for the site, overseeing both internal and customer-facing reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Own the daily, weekly, and monthly P&L while delivering insightful commentary and variance analysis.
- Complete core finance tasks including journals, cross-charges, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Present weekly and monthly financial and KPI performance to operational leaders.
- Partner closely with operations to shape forecasts, budgets, and profit improvement initiatives.
- Analyse key performance drivers and provide clear recommendations aligned to site objectives.
- Support continuous improvement across reporting, governance, and financial controls.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities and ensure decisions are underpinned by robust analysis.
What You’ll Bring
- ACCA/CIMA/QBE.
- Background in logistics or transport is desirable but not essential.
