Culina Group is a market-leading ambient and chilled food and drink third party logistics specialist. We provide warehouse and distribution alongside fresh, food manufacturing, co-packing and bonded divisions, working in partnership with some of the biggest household names in the food and drink sector.
As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will maintain both the customer and credit master data in SAP ensuring that financial risk is managed through accurate and timely updates thus minimising the level of potential bad debt across the organisation. You will always provide an excellent level of customer service to both your internal and external stakeholders offering clear and accurate communication throughout the credit risk management process.
Key duties of a Credit Risk Analyst:
- Maintain customer and credit master data in S/4HANA (e.g., customer IDs, billing addresses, VAT IDs, payment terms, credit limits, risk categories)
- Identify and link shared customers for a single customer view
- Assess credit risk for new/existing customers, setting group-level credit limits (sign off in accordance with the GO policy)
- Manage credit insurance for relevant entities
- Conduct periodic credit reviews, consolidating shared customer exposure across entities
- Produce and Monitor Debt Analysis for the Collections Team
- Work closely with them, entity FD's, Commercial teams on focus areas
- Respond to customer and internal queries professionally and promptly and work closely with customers to resolve any outstanding queries
- Share any learning and support peers, specifically working with collections, billing, customer services, transport and commercial to resolve issues
- Demonstrate flexibility in transitioning between sub-teams as needed
- Proactively seek the opportunity for new and existing process improvements and assist implementation where appropriate
- Take appropriate corrective action and identify, recommend solutions to any errors or mistakes
Qualifications:
- Have used Excel and be familiar with basic functions (pivot & filter)
- Working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint and Word preferred
- Fundamental literacy and numeracy skills to be demonstrated with a willingness to learn and improve mindset
Nice to Have:
- Have used SAP (ECC6 or S/4) OR equivalent ERP system
- Working knowledge of credit limits and risk categories and how they function in an ERP
