An established and growing organisation is looking to strengthen its finance team with the addition of an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager. Based at the company's Head Office, the business offers a supportive and professional working environment, along with opportunities for career development and progression.
This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday, where you'll take the lead on the day-to-day running of the Accounts Receivable team. You'll be responsible for making sure sales invoices, credits, payments, and customer account updates are handled smoothly and efficiently. Alongside this, you'll support the Credit Control team with queries and disputes, helping to keep everything on track.
The role also involves keeping an eye on key performance indicators, mentoring and developing your team, and looking for ways to improve processes. You'll work closely with other departments to make sure account management runs seamlessly across the business.
To be considered, you'll need at least three years' experience in accounts receivable, ideally in a similar setting, along with a minimum of two years managing or leading a team. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as is a keen eye for detail. You should be comfortable using IT systems, well organised, and able to build positive working relationships with both colleagues and external contacts. A relevant qualification, such as AAT, would be a bonus but isn't required.
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary and a solid benefits package, including generous holiday entitlement, your birthday off, staff recognition awards, access to discounts, and an employee assistance programme. There's also a referral scheme that offers £1,000 for every successful recommendation.
