What you\’ll do
In this role, you\’ll support day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close activities across multiple entities. You\’ll work closely with the wider finance team to ensure financial information is accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
- Assist with Management Accounts month-end close processes
- Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, and intercompany entries
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Support audit and statutory reporting activities by preparing schedules and responding to queries
- Process intercompany transactions and assist with group reporting and consolidations
- Help prepare trial balances and contribute to management and financial reporting
- Follow internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures
- Support documentation, process improvements, and efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate with colleagues across finance and other departments to resolve queries and share information
What you\’ll bring
- Part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or actively studying
- Experience supporting month-end processes and account reconciliations
- Good understanding of core financial accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
- A proactive, organised approach with good attention to detail
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment
- An interest in continuous improvement and developing new skills
