The Assistant Management Accountant is responsible for preparing P&Ls, balance sheet reconciliations and producing various reports/ packs accurately and on a timely basis. The role reports directly into the Finance Manager in a small finance team within a professional services company. The client is seeking a candidate from an AP background with the desire to develop in the management accounting space. Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparation of monthly management packs including preparation of P&Ls, analysis of trends and variance reporting Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets etc Assisting in the preparation of weekly NFI flash reporting Assist in preparation of adhoc reports for UK Financial Controller, UK Finance Director and Heads of Business within the UK. Assistance in the year end budgeting process Assisting with the year-end procedures including preparation of statutory accounts, preparation of tax computations and liaising with the external and internal auditors Assistance in collating information from the various RS teams based on site at clients on a weekly and monthly basis.
