Job Description

Our client is a global insurance provider looking for an Assistant Company Secretary to join their high-performing team.

About the Team

The Company Secretariat comprises a Group Company Secretary, a Deputy Company Secretary, and another Assistant Company Secretary. This role will report to the Deputy Company Secretary.

The team provides full board and committee support to the global business, as well as overseeing all corporate governance matters.

Responsibilities

  1. Managing the full life cycle of meetings, including preparation, minuting, and overseeing annual touch points.
  2. Handling assigned committees autonomously.
  3. Gaining exposure to meetings with non-executive directors and senior leadership, including high-level and complex discussions.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  1. 2+ years Company Secretarial experience.
  2. Experience managing Board and Committee processes from end to end.
  3. Strong minuting experience, ideally within a large global company.
  4. A qualification is preferred but not required.
