Our client is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager to join their teams. This role is crucial in leading the accounting processes for their operations business across multiple EMEA entities, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. You will be part of a close-knit team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
What you\’ll do:
As an Accounting Manager, your role will be pivotal in managing all aspects of inventory accounting across our client\’s EMEA entities. You will take ownership of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Your expertise will be called upon as you become the key contact for both internal and external financial audits. Your ability to lead and complete all inventory SOX reporting will be crucial in maintaining zero control deficiencies. Collaborating with the wider operations finance team and commercial FP&A, you will gain a deep understanding of key cost drivers impacting gross margin. Your role will also involve managing the accounting schedules for the operations finance team, driving insight and efficiencies in financial forecasting.
- Manage all inventory accounting across EMEA entities ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations in compliance with SOX requirements
- Own the month-end close process ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting
- Be the key contact for financial audits, both internal and external ensuring necessary compliance with regulatory requirements
