Overview

You will serve as the critical bridge between the raw data infrastructure and the strategic decisions that shape our clients’ business. While the Data Engineering team builds the pipelines, you will transform that data into trusted, well-modelled, and actionable insights. This is a high-visibility role where you will turn complex datasets into a reliable source of truth.

Responsibilities

  • Data Modelling & Transformation: Own the analytics transformation layer, shaping raw data into clean, well-documented, and high-performance data models.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams. Partner closely with department leaders to define KPIs and implement the logic that brings them to life.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Build and deliver intuitive, impactful dashboards, primarily in Power BI, that provide immediate, at-a-glance insights for the business.
  • Data Quality & Governance: Implement and uphold strong data quality and governance practices, ensuring complete trust and confidence in all reporting.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a data-focused role such as Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Analysis.
  • Proven ability to write complex, efficient queries and design analytical data models (e.g., star schemas).
  • Strong understanding of how the business currently uses spreadsheets, with the ability to bridge manual analysis and scalable BI solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to cloud data platforms, with GCP (BigQuery) experience considered a strong plus.
  • Able to clearly translate technical concepts into compelling insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Naturally curious and solutions-oriented; you don’t just identify problems, you design and deliver improvements.
