Our client, a leading logistics and distribution business, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager to oversee night operations. You will manage a large team, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all warehouse functions.
Location: Derbyshire
Contract: Full-time | Nights (4 on 4 off, 18:00–06:00)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate Team Leaders and Operatives to achieve KPIs.
- Oversee order picking, loading/unloading, and inventory control.
- Drive performance improvements and maintain Health & Safety standards.
- Manage labour costs and ensure workflow continuity.
- Conduct staff development and performance reviews.
About You:
- Proven experience in warehouse management within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong people management and HR process knowledge.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- PC literate with WMS experience.
