My client is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join their team for 12 months. This Manager will play a vital role in leading the team through various projects, so they would need to be a strong leader and have prior experience guiding a company through change. This is a hybrid role for a company based in Cambridgeshire.
Projects:
- Replacing the current ERP system, whilst managing internal & external relationships.
- Developing the TMS system & other solutions across the treasury function to improve efficiencies & maintain control.
- Leading the scoping process for a new TMS system, partnering with procurement to find an efficient solution.
Responsibilities:
- Leading the day-to-day relationship with the banks.
- Managing the Treasury team ensuring all transactions are processed ensuring accuracy.
- Partner with commercial operations, providing insights and advice to manage risk in relation to FX and commodity prices.
- Manage and implement strong frameworks across treasury and commercial ops to mitigate risk.
- Own the disaster recovery process, testing appropriately.
Ideal candidate:
- Qualified Accountant, ideally with ACT Qualification (but not essential).
- Proven track record in managing a team and being the driving force for change, while still being "hands on".
- Experience with scoping for TMS systems and system implementations, ideally with SAP.
