The role involves processing end-to-end payroll for over 2,000 employees in line with HMRC legislation and company policies. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing starters, leavers, salary changes, and contractual updates in collaboration with HR
  • Handling statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP and pensions auto-enrolment
  • Responding to payroll queries with professionalism, discretion, and empathy
  • Maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring data confidentiality
  • Producing payroll reports and supporting finance and management requirements
  • Assisting with year-end activities such as P60s, P11Ds, and reconciliations
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of payroll processes and team best practice
