Senior Manager – Performance Attribution
We are looking for experienced leaders within the Performance Attribution space, who are keen to take on an existing team within a market-leading Investment Manager.
Must have:
- Equities & Fixed Income experience
- Performance Attribution well covered
- Understanding of Risk Metrics and able to liaise with internal key stakeholders (Desks, Risk etc.)
- Proven leadership experience of a larger team with track record of success
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Performance Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role offers the chance to develop and implement operational plans, provide expertise in performance analysis across investment portfolios, and act as a senior subject matter expert for performance-related queries. With a generous salary range of £90,000 – 110,000 and based in the vibrant city of London, this position provides an excellent platform for career growth and development.
What you\’ll do:
- Develop and implement operational plans to achieve department\’s short- and long-range strategies.
- Provide expertise in performance analysis and reporting across investment portfolios.
- Act as senior subject matter expert for performance related queries.
- Oversee in-depth performance analysis, attribution and reporting of investment portfolios.
- Lead the team responsible for producing and presenting accurate performance measurement.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to support global performance analysis teams.
What you bring:
- Extensive experience within an investment and performance analytics environment.
- Practical understanding of performance methodologies & attribution methodologies.
- Knowledge of market data indices (S&P/ASX, MSCI, etc.), characteristics (dividend yield, PE ratio, duration, etc.), and classification schemes (GICS, BICS, etc.).
- Understanding of ex-ante risk reporting principles.
- Strong practical understanding of various asset classes and instrument types.
- Minimum of 5-10 years aligned work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills.
