SECURITY SERVICES LAWYER
6-month contract
Salary: £600 to £650 per day PAYE Inside IR35
Location: London (3 days a week in the office required)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Security Services Lawyer to join a dynamic legal team in London. This contractor role offers the chance to work on high-profile client negotiations, engage with agent banks, and contribute to technical regulatory and other project work. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing a range of services to institutional clients, including global custody, depositary services, accounting, administration, ETF servicing, middle office, foreign exchange, liquidity management, agency securities finance, collateral management, performance management and data solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Support the fast-paced Securities Services business
- Engage in high-profile client negotiations
- Negotiate with agent banks
- Contribute to technical regulatory and other project work
- Provide a range of services to institutional clients
- Work closely with the EMEA Securities Services legal team
What you bring:
- At least 3+ years of PQE ideally from a common law background
- Proven experience as a Security Services Lawyer
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to handle high-profile client negotiations
- Experience with technical regulatory and project work
- Understanding of global custody, depositary services, accounting, administration, ETF servicing, middle office, foreign exchange, liquidity management, agency securities finance, collateral management, performance management and data solutions
