The Contracts Administrator in Sale will manage the preparation, review, and administration of contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role provides expert support in contract negotiation, risk assessment, and documentation for construction consulting projects.
Responsibilities
- Review, negotiate, and administer contracts for construction consulting projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and legal advisors to support contract execution and compliance.
- Identify and escalate contract risks to the Risk Manager or Board.
- Maintain accurate contract records, track key dates, and manage documentation in the company’s systems.
- Assist with maintaining company accreditations (e.g., ISO standards) and support process improvements.
- Deliver Risk & Compliance training to the wider business.
- Provide cover and support for Risk Management team members as needed.
Person Spec
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. Paralegal certification or equivalent legal training preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator or Paralegal, ideally within the construction, commercial or contracts arenas.
- Familiarity with UK contract law, GDPR, and ISO standards.
- Strong legal drafting and contract negotiation skills.
- Experience delivering training and presentations.
- Advanced IT skills with experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Teams.
