Our client is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Accountant to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to cover all aspects of regulatory capital and leverage monitoring and reporting under CRD V / PRA. You will be using Axiom and existing reporting tools to build and enhance a robust control framework, while also assisting more junior members of the team.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate and run the production of daily capital reporting, quarterly COREP reporting associated controls and governance, as well as other ad hoc reporting deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead in release testing and optimising tools to enhance controls and streamline existing processes.
- Production and first level review of daily Capital Adequacy, Large Exposures and Leverage Ratio.
- Prepare supervisory returns for PRA/BOE/Others.
- Prepare internal MI including commentaries for various internal Committee packs.
- Participate in enhancing controls related to regulatory processes.
- Assist with maintaining internal regulatory documents, policies and EUC’s.
- Support in the production of Pillar 3 documents and ICAAP stress testing.
What you bring:
- Extensive experience from a reporting or control environment, with specific knowledge on regulatory reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with COREP, ICAAP, Pillar 3 reporting, as well as Capital Markets products such as Securities, SFT’s and derivatives.
- A strong understanding of regulatory rules Basel III, CRD V.
- Experience in managing both junior and more experienced staff.
- 5+ years’ experience working in a reporting or control environment.
- Finance qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CFA) is beneficial.
