Overview
We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to join our client’s team in Reading, to play a pivotal role in supporting the MD as his first EA in a growing Technology business. This is a high-profile position at the very heart of the business, where your organisational expertise, discretion, and proactive approach will ensure leadership can focus on strategic priorities.
From managing complex diaries and travel logistics to coordinating high-level meetings and stakeholder events, you’ll act as a trusted partner to the Executive team.
What you’ll do
As Executive Assistant, you’ll provide seamless, dependable support to the MD, ensuring operations run smoothly day to day. Responsibilities will include:
- Managing diaries, emails, and communications with discretion and accuracy
- Preparing meeting materials, taking minutes, and following up on actions
- Organising national and international travel, including detailed itineraries
- Coordinating stakeholder visits and key corporate events
- Handling confidential correspondence and sensitive information
- Building strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners
- Processing expenses and invoices with meticulous attention to detail
- Anticipating needs and providing proactive solutions before challenges arise
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone with proven experience supporting senior leaders or board-level executives in a fast-paced environment. You will bring:
- A track record of delivering confidential, high-level administrative support
- Exceptional diary, travel, and event management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels
- Absolute discretion when handling sensitive information
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR systems
- A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
- High attention to detail and a calm, professional presence under pressure
