What you'll do:
- Provide expert technical counsel to support teams by resolving escalated matters pertaining to Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM applications within Finance and Procurement.
- Sustain and enhance integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP applications and ancillary internal systems through the utilisation of middleware technologies and APIs.
- Implement and maintain rigorous security measures throughout the Oracle Cloud environment in strict accordance with prevailing policies and regulatory requirements.
- Administer environment strategies for EPM and ERP platforms while overseeing user access controls with precision.
- Lead inquiries into complex incidents by collaborating with cross-functional teams to ascertain root causes and establish enduring solutions.
- Direct critical incident or outage responses by managing communications with stakeholders and ensuring prompt resolutions are achieved.
- Participate in post-incident evaluations to guarantee that preventative measures are identified and enacted for future resilience.
- Identify avenues for continuous improvement by elevating performance, stability, automation, and security within the Oracle Cloud environment.
- Promote the adoption of automation tools and scripts to streamline support processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Maintain exhaustive technical documentation including system architecture diagrams, configuration parameters, workarounds, troubleshooting guides, and support materials.
What you bring:
- Substantial experience (5-8 years) supporting Oracle Cloud ERP platforms encompassing Fusion Middleware and database technologies.
- Comprehensive background in Oracle Cloud application development frameworks complemented by practical engagement with associated tools.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical issues through refined troubleshooting skills coupled with analytical acumen.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL or Python for automating tasks or addressing integration complexities.
- Experience employing performance monitoring instruments alongside tuning methodologies to optimise cloud environments effectively.
- Thorough understanding of integration technologies (OCI) as well as API standards such as REST or SOAP for seamless inter-system connectivity.
