An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Analyst specialising in Listed Derivatives to join a highly respected Hedge Fund based in London. What you'll do
- Oversee daily operational processes related to listed derivatives, ensuring all trades are accurately captured, reconciled, and settled within required timeframes.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as trading, risk management, compliance, and technology to resolve trade discrepancies and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Monitor trade flows and manage exceptions by investigating breaks or mismatches between front office systems and clearing houses.
- Liaise with external counterparties including brokers, exchanges, and clearing houses to facilitate timely resolution of queries or issues impacting trade settlement.
- Support the implementation of new products or process enhancements by participating in user acceptance testing and providing feedback on system changes.
- Prepare regular reports on operational metrics, outstanding issues, and process improvements for senior management review.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Assist with audit requests by providing accurate records and explanations of operational activities as required by internal or external auditors.
- Participate in team meetings and knowledge‑sharing sessions to foster continuous improvement within the operations function.
