A thriving manufacturing company based on the Wirral is looking for a Materials Planner to join their team. As Materials Planner, you will be responsible for driving OTIF from suppliers to drive material availability to support production teams and ensuring inventory is kept at optimum levels.
About the role:
- Material requirements planning and expedite from an international supply base, in line with system requirements.
- Lean inventory management.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
- Create and maintain material master data and purchase information records ensuring accuracy of data.
About the person:
- Previous experience working within a materials planner/ MRP controller/ scheduler role.
- The ability to drive change in a positive manner.
- Previous experience using SAP or Microsoft Nav.
- Capable of working autonomously.
