What you\’ll do:

As a Marketing and Events Assistant based in Manchester City Centre, you will play an integral role in supporting the delivery of impactful marketing campaigns and exceptional events. Your day-to-day activities will involve collaborating with colleagues across different functions to ensure seamless execution of both digital initiatives and live experiences. You will have the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced marketing technology platforms—crafting compelling email campaigns, managing engaging social media schedules, producing creative collateral using professional design software, and optimising web content for maximum visibility.

  • Support ongoing marketing campaigns by utilising all elements of the marketing mix to ensure effective promotion and engagement across various channels.
  • Deliver targeted email marketing campaigns using a market-leading automation platform, measuring results and applying insights to future initiatives.
  • Manage a comprehensive social media schedule designed to generate interest and attendance for Manchester-based events
  • Publish new content and optimise existing material on an industry-leading content management system to enhance SEO strategy and audience reach.
  • Create high-quality campaign assets—including event invitations, brochures, social media graphics, and email templates—using design tools such as Adobe Design Suite.
  • Coordinate a varied schedule of Manchester events ranging from hospitality gatherings to thought leadership seminars, ensuring each event runs smoothly from conception through execution.
  • Provide extensive marketing support for flagship events by driving applications, maximising exposure, and managing end-to-end event plans with guidance from senior team members.
