Our client, a high-growth leader in the UK construction sector, is seeking a Project Buyer to take ownership of subcontract procurement on live projects. Focused on M&E and building services packages, this is a critical hire that will directly influence project delivery speed, commercial outcomes, and risk management.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Full ownership of subcontract procurement for live projects
  • Managing commercial terms, scopes, and BoQs
  • Collaborating closely with project teams to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery
  • Supporting risk management and strategic supplier engagement

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5 years’ experience in subcontract procurement (ideal)
  • Background in M&E, building services, construction procurement, or utilities/hard FM
  • Comfortable procuring subcontract packages, commercial terms, and BoQs/scopes
  • Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset

This is a hands-on, fast-paced procurement role where speed, agility, and pragmatism are key. You will have direct impact on large, complex data centre projects and be part of a delivery-focused team at the forefront of a high-growth market.
