Robert Walters are excited to be representing an industry leading fashion brand based in Manchester City Centre who are looking to appoint an ambitious and astute Group Financial Accountant into their team. The organisation is on a dynamic growth trajectory with positive change and developments to support its continued success.
Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, the successful candidate will take a lead role in the financial reporting process at group level, ensuring successful group reporting and consolidations are completed. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the journey of the business and accelerate your career within one of the North West’s leading businesses.
What you’ll do:
- Perform finance activities at group level including consolidations.
- Establish and maintain a robust intercompany process.
- Provide support and coordination through audit and statutory accounts processes.
- Ensure best practice adherence in financial reporting, data integrity, and group policy compliance.
- Drive improvement and automation of processes.
What you bring:
- Qualified accounting professional (ACCA/CIMA/ACA).
- Strong technical financial accounting & reporting ability.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and analytical tools.
- Keen eye for detail balanced with an ability to step back and see the bigger picture.
- Proven ability to deliver under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills - comfortable interacting across all levels of the business.
