A top international law firm is seeking a Senior Conflicts lawyer to join the Risk and Compliance team in Leeds or Manchester.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with lawyers and stakeholders to gather information on conflicts issues and existing client relationships.
  • Support the identification and resolution of conflicts matters through engagement with relevant stakeholders and senior decision-makers.
  • Consider wider commercial, risk and reputational factors as part of the conflicts clearance process.
  • Contribute to the development, review and ongoing enhancement of policies and procedures relating to conflicts management and compliance.
  • Provide guidance, oversight and support to members of the conflicts and advisory teams, including supervisory and mentoring responsibilities as appropriate.
  • Act as a referral point for complex or sensitive conflicts enquiries and support their effective resolution.
