An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a global manufacturing organisation in Maidenhead. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of all financial transactions related to operational, project, and capital expenditures within this division.

The successful candidate will play a key role in business planning, performance reporting, and providing insightful analysis to senior management while maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS standards and local tax regulations (e.g., VAT).
  • Support business planning by preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.
  • Provide financial oversight for operational cost planning, stock level analysis, and project costing.
  • Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders, offering guidance on expenditure control and transfer pricing.
  • Drive process improvements and maintain governance procedures across finance operations.
  • Manage one direct report (Assistant Management Accountant) and support their development.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2–3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with UK statutory reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Nav/Business Central, and advanced Excel skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • A track record of identifying and implementing process improvements.
