A distinguished global trading organisation is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer to join its esteemed Technology Infrastructure team in London on a six-month fixed-term contract. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the transformation and optimisation of a hybrid IT platform that supports key business operations and innovative technology initiatives.

Microsoft 365 Engineer

The successful candidate will play a key role in migrating critical services to Microsoft 365, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption. The role involves working with advanced cloud technologies, AI-driven solutions, and on-premise environments. What you\'ll do:

  1. Assist in planning, executing, and overseeing the migration of Exchange 2016 mailboxes to Exchange Online, ensuring data integrity and minimal user disruption.
  2. Configure and deploy Intune for mobile device management, establishing security policies and providing user support.
  3. Support the integration of Microsoft 365 Copilot into workflows to enhance productivity and collaboration.
  4. Utilise Azure OpenAI services to develop AI solutions that optimise IT operations and business processes.
  5. Support on-premise platforms including Exchange 2016, VMware, Active Directory, Mimecast, Blackberry Work, and Enterprise Vault, managing performance and resolving issues.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and communicate during transitions.
  7. Diagnose complex technical issues promptly and document resolutions for future reference.
  8. Monitor project progress, coordinate resources, and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
  9. Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend enhancements to hybrid infrastructure.

What you bring:

  1. Experience migrating enterprise email systems from on-premise Exchange 2016 to Exchange Online.
  2. Knowledge of configuring Intune for mobile device management, including policy enforcement.
  3. Experience integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve workflows.
  4. Ability to develop AI solutions using Azure OpenAI or similar platforms.
  5. Familiarity with managing on-premise infrastructure such as VMware, Active Directory, Mimecast, Blackberry Work, and Enterprise Vault.
  6. Strong diagnostic skills and documentation practices.
