On behalf of their client, they are in search of a knowledgeable Senior Tax Manager to become part of their team in London. This role presents the opportunity to manage corporate projects, supervise direct and indirect compliance obligations, and collaborate with third-party taxation advisors. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on engaging tax advisory projects, including the introduction of Pillar Two and other corporate initiatives.
What you'll do
- Manage corporate projects including group restructuring and the establishment of new business lines
- Supervise the direct and indirect compliance obligations of the group
- Manage tax advisory projects including the introduction of Pillar Two and other corporate initiatives
- Take overall responsibility for all tax compliance obligations including corporation tax, VAT, and employment taxes
- Collaborate with third-party taxation advisors ensuring value for money services delivered
- Seek out ideas and opportunities to ensure commercial activities are efficiently managed from a taxation perspective
What you bring
- Knowledgeable tax specialist with experience of offshore fund tax issues
- Experience dealing with advisers from various countries and coordinating international tax-related deal structuring
- ACA qualified with appropriate tax qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
- Robust project management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all staff levels
- Ability to understand complex structures and transactions
- Attention to detail with a ‘right first time’ approach
