Our client is a London based Fintech scale up with operations across Europe, Asia and South Americas. We are hiring a Backend Engineer to build and maintain scalable backend systems supporting APIs, data services, and integrations. You will work on core platforms, deliver new features, improve reliability, and support production systems in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot, Netty)
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
- Own features from design to deployment and monitoring
- Participate in support/on-call rotations
- Improve system monitoring and observability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Support CI/CD pipelines and regular releases
Requirements
